Community Code of Conduct

OnlineOpenMic is a home for comics who want more stage time. Comedy can be edgy on stage. Off stage, here, we treat each other like colleagues. Everyone agrees to this when they join.

Do

• Support other comics. Show up, stay for the show, give useful notes when asked.
• Respect hosts, venues and their rules: sign-up times, light, set length, drink minimums.
• Keep mic info accurate. If a mic changes or closes, report it.
• Keep business honest. If a gig, show or service costs comics money, say so up front.

Don’t

• No harassment, threats, hate speech or unwanted sexual messages, in posts, messages or at venues you found here.
• No stealing material, and no posting someone’s set or clip without their permission.
• No spam, scams, fake reviews or fake accounts.
• No sharing other people’s private information.

If something goes wrong

Block or mute anyone from their profile, and manage that on Privacy and safety. Report stolen material on Report stolen material. Report a gig or gear listing with the Report button on it. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.
